I'm well aware that nobody reads this blog but me. And frankly that's probably as it should be, because I'm quite certain my thoughts have already been thought and expressed by someone else and mine are no more original than theirs.
Having said that, in the hustle and bustle of our lives, we DO have a country to run for our collective selves. "Greasing the squeaky wheel" isn't the way to run our country. That is what we did when we allowed the "Patriot Act" to be passed into law and frankly the Affordable Care Act also.
It has been known for centuries that "Power corrupts; and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Where ever power is lodged it will be abused and misused. The Church, Government, Politics, Love, Law, any and all endeavors are not immune from this apparently immutable truth.
So, like the "Canary in the coal mine" FOR GOD'S SAKE TAKE SOME ACTION BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE !!!!!
