MY CANDIDATES MUST:

• Be able to articulate a VISION extending to the end of their term in office + 6 years.  It does not have to be MY vision but it will probably have to be something I can accept to garner my vote.
  
• Be able to articulate specific STRATEGIES which will be employed to achieve the vision
  
  
• Be able to articulate the specific TACTICS and the players who will execute those tactics which will be utilized to implement the strategies to achieve the vision

The link below is to an article that explains what a "superdelegate" is and other details.  Copy and paste the link into your address bar.  This applies to BOTH the Democrat and Republican parties.  However, in the Republican Party there are some written restrictions but how binding they are is questionable.

Read the article and draw your own conclusions.  I end up believing the custom of "smoke filled backroom deal making" is still alive and well.

I believe this is again reinforcement of my frequent point of how important it is to become directly involved in local politics if you want to influence the outcome of elections and by inference the direction of the government.
