MY IDEAL POLITICAL CANDIDATES
PRIMARY ATTRIBUTES
MY CANDIDATES MUST:
- Be able to articulate a VISION extending to the end of their term in office + 6 years. It does not have to be MY vision but it will probably have to be something I can accept to garner my vote.
- Be able to articulate specific STRATEGIES which will be employed to achieve the vision
- Be able to articulate the specific TACTICS and the players who will execute those tactics which will be utilized to implement the strategies to achieve the vision

ReplyDeleteI agree with these requirements. I've often said I'd like to hear HOW the candidates are going to accomplish the promises they make, but we seldom do.

ReplyDeleteI completely agree, personally. It's never the "What" to do, it's the "How to do" and it's execution. Most people are "Listmakers". "Here's what YOU should do...." almost never "Here's what I'M going to do". Big difference.
Delete
